2023 Buick Electra E5
Buick plans to introduce new vehicles for the Chinese market. Nonetheless, the automaker anticipates introducing the Electra E5 to the United States. But that’s not the only exciting news.
Although production began in December 2022, Buick is now building the 2023 Electra E5. This occurs at China’s SAIC-GM Wuhan Ultium Plant, also referred to as the Wuhan Ultium Center. This is the automaker’s all-electric vehicle. It includes an Ultium battery and drive motor technology. The automaker is also giving the 2023 Buick Electra E5 a GM BVE3 platform.
Initially, Buick plans to make the Buick Electra E5 available to the Chinese market. Even so, in 2024, it’ll introduce an electric crossover for people in North America.
Electra E4
As the “cousin” of the 2023 Electra E5, Buick will also release the E4 only in the Chinese market. At this point, the automaker hasn’t given a release date. At this same time, Buick hasn’t provided a date when the Electra E4 will make its way to North America.
2024 Buick Envista
Then in the spring of 2024, Buick will introduce North America to the Envista. It’s an all-new entry-level crossover SUV that will bring back the Tri-Shield brand lineup. That’ll cover four models. Not only will this replace the now-retired Encore, but it’ll give buyers three extra choices.
2024 Buick Encore GX
Although production of the original Encore ended in 2023, the automaker will introduce the 2024 Buick Encore GX in mid to late 2023. As a refreshed mid-cycle B-segment crossover, it comes with a lot of exciting features. For instance, you could opt for different trims, including the top-level Avenir. Even the interior will boast improvements.
2024 Buick Envision
Buick will also introduce the 2024 Envision. This shares similarities with the Encore GX. However, this is a refresh mid-cycle C-segment crossover. Although the automaker hasn’t released many details or its exact launch date, this vehicle will certainly grab attention.
2025 Buick Enclave
Here’s some more exciting news from Buick. In 2024, it’ll begin to build the next generation of the Enclave. Moreover, it’ll work on an enhanced version of the Buick Electra E5 when it rolls out the 2025 model. That all-electric vehicle will serve drivers throughout North America.
